Moline, Morgan Elected to Board

A public radio host/manager and a TV news director are the two newest members of the INBA Board of Directors.  Brian Moline of WILL radio and Josh Morgan of WREX-TV were elected during the Spring 2017 Convention in Urbana.
Moline has been on the air on Champaign/Urbana since 2000; first at commercial station group WDWS/WHMS/WKIO and then with Illinois Public Media.  He is the Morning Edition host, and was also recently made Newsroom Manager.  He’s a graduate of Truman State University.

INBA Votes to Trim Board

Members at the INBA Spring Convention voted to decrease the size of the Board of Directors by two over the next two election cycles.
This means that in Fall 2017, only 8 board members will be chosen (not 9), and in Fall 2018, 7 board members will be chosen.  The 6 officer positions will remain.  The full board size will change from 15 to 13.

Convention Fellowship Awarded

A Peoria television news producer is attending the INBA Convention this weekend at no cost.  Pierce Roberson was selected as the recipient of the Convention Fellowship, provided by the INBA Foundation.  Pierce produces the 6pm and 10pm newscasts on weekdays at WMBD-TV.  He is a graduate of Western Illinois University.
