Radio Newsman Moves to TV

After more than 20 years behind the microphone in radio, Terry James is going to try television.  He's been hired as a newscast producer at WHBF-TV in the Quad Cities.  James recently finished his degree at Western Illinois University, but has a resume that goes back to 1996 and includes stints at stations in Milwaukee, Bloomington, the Quad Cities and for the Nebraska Radio Network.

TV News Director Moves North

Kent Harrell has been a fixture in TV Newsrooms in Illinois and Wisconsin for the past several years, and now he's made another move north of the border.  Harrell started June 12 as News Director at WDJT-TV (CBS58) in Milwaukee.

Peoria TV Anchor Terminated

WHOI-TV Anchor Eric Greene is no longer with the station, according to an article in the Peoria Journal-Star.
Greene was part of a panel addressing students' expectations of a broadcast news job, at the most recent INBA convention, in April 2017 (pictured).
