Peoria Morning Show Changes

Two of the three Peoria morning shows are in the market for new producers.  May 15 marked the last overnight shift for Greg Smith, who has been producing WEEK’s News 25 Today, and working those hours, for nearly seven years.  The U of I graduate is leaving the business, taking a position with MassMutual Insurance in Peoria.  He has attended several INBA conventions over the years.

Over at WMBD-TV, producer Jaymee Toler is heading to a bigger market in June  Toler actually got a call from KSDK in St. Louis during the recent INBA Convention in Normal.  She will be part of the producing staff for “Today in St. Louis.”  Toler is an INBA member and an Illinois State University grad.
WIU grad John Kendall remains as producer of Daybreak, which airs on WHOI-TV. The ABC affiliate is in the same building and uses most of the same news staff as WEEK, but has a different control room and different anchors.
