INBA Remembers First Amendment Attorney
INBA Board Members send their condolences to the family of James C. Craven, who died January 12 at age 89.
As a Springfield lawyer, Craven took on many cases involving First Amendment issues, and offered legal help to students in the Public Affairs Reporting Program. He was also available to INBA members through a Legal Hotline that was established at that time. James Craven is survived by his wife Gloria, and children William, Nancy, Rebecca and Don, who is the INBA's current counsel.
