New York Press Club Elects Former INBA President
WCBS-AM radio's Steve Scott has been elected president of the New York Press Club. Scott has been afternoon drive anchor at the O & O since 2006, and has won several awards. During his time in New York, he has been active with the Press Club, most recently serving as 1st Vice President. Scott was anchor and News Director at WLS-AM in Chicago for several years, and during that time was also active with the INBA. He was elected president three times, and still stays connected, including serving as emcee and panel moderator for the recent Spring Convention/60th Anniversary Celebration in Normal in April.
The New York Press Club is an association of and for working journalists and media professionals. The club is a private, non-profit organization and is not affiliated with any government office or agency and does not advocate or participate in any political activity.
